Meno Fortas Theatre artistic team of "The Idiot" was recently nominated to prestigious Lithuanian award - "Golden stage cross". This ward is given to the most outstanding stage works of 2009 - 2010 theatre season. Director Eimuntas Nekrosius claims to prize for the best production of the year - "The Idiot" by Fiodor Dostoevsky. Actor Salvijus Trepulis (Rogozin) is listed among the best main actors, Diana Gancevskaite (Aglaya) and Vytautas Rumsas (General Ivolgin) are nominated for the best secondary role. In the category of debuting actor - interpreter of Myshkin - Daumantas Ciunis is presented.

The awards will be given on International Theatre Day - March 27 at Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.
